Grandma Miller gave Vara this beautiful mesh thing--I cant remember what it's called!, grandma??-- I hung it over her crib, maybe a bit much, but I like it. Im surprised she hasn't pulled it, yet. Reid has been eager to get in "the crib room".
We pulled Reid's old toys from the attic today for Vara. This is her first attempt at the walker. She liked it at first, but then cried. :)
Reid discovered this bug canister in his room today, so we've been busy hunting...its gross :) And, lastly, Vara had her first Pb&J today!! Yay!! She loved it! ( I hope it counts, it was actually on an ezekiel muffin.) Here she is savoring....

I love to see the little ones enjoying the water!
I have always called that bed treatment a Mombasa net. You did a great job getting it up so quickly. Looks like the crib of a princess !
Loved having you guys over last week for a swim. Grandma Miller
You have the most beautiful family and I am an unbiased person...Love Mom
Unbiased, right!!-- :)
Grandma, I was excited about it, so I put it up that afternoon. Thanks again! We'll be over for a swim early in the week. Reid loves Alexa!--he asks about her now.
Yeah Sweet pictures, love the netting above her bed. Only a matter of time before she yanks it down...
My sister has that netting too and i thinks its beautiful(thought it was called mosquito netting, but that sounds kind'a ugly). Love ya!
So cute Ginger! Vara's bed looks so fun, no wonder Reid wants to get in there!
Vara is so cute eating that PB&J! Looks like she enjoyed it. Ok, gotta ask, what is an Ezekiel muffin??
Love the netting! Olivia had some of that over her toddler bed. We took it down when we moved the furniture around and still need to put it back up. She loved her little "tent bed."
Hey Amy- you going to the meeting wed? Did steph tell you taylor is coming to our house now??--I am stoked!! I need all the help I can get. Hopefully we can catch up tomorrow, didnt get to chat much at cg. Ezekiel muffin is like Ezekiel bread, just their "english muffin" version. Its yummy! Im just now making some bread, so we were eating that for about a week :)
Hey, I don't know if I'm going to be at the meeting or not...probably not -we've got a ton going on this week with Bek's wedding this Saturday. That's awesome that Taylor is going to be your mommy's helper!!! Having Steph is so great, you're going to love it!
Ok, hate to sound like an idiot here (but hey, what's new?) what is Ezekiel bread? I've heard of it, just don't know what it is. What kind of bread are you making? Mmmm, I love homemade bread!
Its a sprouted grain bread they sell in the stores..biblical bread is what some people call it I think. And no, Im not making that. You can find a recipe online for it, but I like to make Rustic Bread. You can find it on The Fresh Loaf (there's a link on my page) Yeah--homemade breads are the best! I know that we are eating all good stuff that way :)
Will miss you wed, but totally understand. I still want to go for that hike with the kiddies when your schedule allows.
Ahh...thanks for clearing that up for me Ginger! I'll have to try that Rustic Bread...I hardly ever make bread (well, banana bread, but I eat the whole thing in a day and it's more like cake so I don't think it counts!) but I'd like to try...love some good yummy bread!!
Yeah, give me a week or so and then I'll be happy to tell the kids to take a hike ;-) Just kiddin! We'll get it on the schedule soon!
